Express Entry – Canada
Express Entry – Canada. The Canada Express Entry Scheme is a points-based immigration program that gives professionals a fair chance at gaining residence in Canada. It gives points to professionals based on their abilities, experience, Canadian job status, and nomination from a province or territory.
On September 29th, Canada invited 761 Express Entry candidates to apply for permanent residence. The invited candidates already obtained nominations as a result of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). This added 600 extra points to their Express Entry score. To be invited as a result of the award, candidates needed to have at least 742 as their score.
Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited five hundred and twenty-one PNP candidates who had at least 732 as their score in the last PNP draw. The new draw is larger, but it also has a higher score cut-off, implying that the Provincial Nominee Class pool contains more high-scoring individuals.
