Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate operational audits across Nomac’s facilities and projects, including assessing operational processes, controls, and performance.
  • Develop audit plans, scope, and objectives based on risk assessments and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct fieldwork, including interviews, document reviews, and data analysis, to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations to address control deficiencies, mitigate risks, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare audit reports detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations for management review and action.
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in internal auditing, operations management, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of audit methodologies, risk assessment techniques, and internal control frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and audit software tools.
